They do this through a variety of community cleanups, restoration and beautification projects, as well as environmental education and stewardship programs. Some of their impressive annual environmental accomplishments included:

- 410 Educational Presentations and Outreach Events
- 16,806 Volunteers
- 304,513 Pounds of Waste Removed – Litter and Recycling Diverted
- 4,458 Gardens, Trees and Plants Planted
- 1,786 Acres of Public Lands Improved
Gopher Resource provides ongoing financial support, as well as presents and volunteers at local events with KTBB that foster environmental stewardship and education. Some of these events include the following:
Kenly Elementary School Beautification Projects – Employee volunteer efforts to beautify and renew outdoor spaces at Kenley Elementary School for students, staff and the community to enjoy.
King High School Beautification Projects - Employee volunteer efforts to revitalize outdoor spaces for the benefit of students, staff and their families.
Adopt-A-Park – The Adopt-A-Road/Park Programs allow volunteers to make a direct impact on the quality of life in their community. This Program creates environmental awareness stewardship as well as provides community service hours and leadership opportunities. These opportunities broaden the awareness of the negative effects litter has on our environment.
Great American Cleanup and Earth Day – A call to action to create more sustainable communities by focusing volunteer efforts on activities that impact individuals in need, the community and the environment.
The Trashy Flashy Fashion Show – A hands-on educational experience that encouraged students/designers to integrate waste reduction practices into wearable fashion. "The fashion show challenged individuals to think outside the bin" and focused on the importance of waste reduction through "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle."
Annual Tropical Nights Fundraiser – Tropical Nights is KTBB's premier fundraising event, providing critical funding needed to support the organization's mission to provide a beautiful environment.
Education Opportunities - We also present at cleanup events to educate participants on the benefits of lead based battery recycling and proper disposal methods.
